While in Morocco for the FIFA Club World Cup in Morocco, December 2014, HRH Prince Talal Bin Badr Bin Saud Bin ABDULAZIZ, President of the Union of Arab National Olympic Committees – an I.S.S.F Observer – met with Mr. Joseph BLATTER FIFA President and handed him three protest letters from the Presidents of I.S.S.F, UANOC and Union of Arab Football Association. The letters requested FIFA to force Israel to stop its continuous aggression on Palestinian sport particularly football. Prince Talal confirmed that Israel’s persistent policies of arresting Palestinian football players and officials, breaking into the PFA office, bombing facilities and hindering football activities are some of the violations of the FIFA laws and spirit regularly committed by Israel. He demanded that the subject be included in the agenda of the FIFA Executive Committee meeting in Marrakech with a view to taking an effective action. Mr. Blatter expressed his deep concern about the subject and said that the suffering of Palestinian sport must come to an end soon. The meeting was attended by Sheikh Salman Bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, President of AFC and General Jebril Al-Rajoub, President of Palestine NOC.
