
ISSF mourns the death of its Vice- President Gen. Ahmed FOULY

{يَا أَيَّتُهَا النَّفْسُ الْمُطْمَئِنَّةُ ارْجِعِي إِلَى رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةً مَرْضِيَّةً فَادْخُلِي فِي عِبَادِي وَادْخُلِي جَنَّتِي}

In the Name of Allâh, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
“{‘O Serene Soul! Return to Your Lord well-pleased (with your blissful destination), well pleasing (to your Lord), So enter among My (righteous) servants and enter My paradise”, Sourat Al- Fajr/Dawn, Ayat Nos.27-30}.
With all grief and distress, the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation (ISSF) and its all employees, as well as the sports community of the member countries, have learned about the passing away of the ISSF 2nd Vice-President Gen. Ahmed FOULY at the age of 70.
He dedicated most of his life for the service of sports and sportspeople and left a glorious record of achievements at all national, regional, continental and international levels.
Gen. FOULY (may Allah have mercy on his soul) was one of the most prominent figures in the international sports movement, and held various important positions locally, regionally and globally.
Gen. FOULY served as a member of the ISSF Executive Board, then as a vice-president up to the time of his death in September 2020. He left behind a precious memory full of respect and love among those who knew him and those who worked with him.
May Allah have mercy upon his soul, grant him an eternal place in Jannah and give courage and patience to his family and friends.
