5th Islamic Solidarity Games kick off in Konya

On August 9, 2022, the Konya 2021 5th Islamic Solidarity Games officially started in Türkiye’s Konya, in the presence of Türkiye’s President Recep Tayyip ERDOGAN and President of ISSF HRH Prince Abdulaziz Bin Turki AL-FAISAL AL SAUD.
The opening ceremony was also attended by Azerbaijan’s President Ilham ALIYEV along with ministers and ambassadors of Islamic nations, with the participation of 4,200 athletes representing 54 countries.
