
26 Medals for Member Countries in the Sambo World Championship
Member countries of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation collectively achieved 26 colourful medals during their participation in the Sambo World Championship hosted by the Armenian capital, Yerevan, from November 10 to 12.
Seven teams from member countries secured this medal tally, consisting of 5 gold medals, five silver medals, and 16 bronze medals.
Uzbekistan claimed second in the medal standings after the World Championship, securing six medals, including two gold, one silver, and three bronze.
Kazakhstan won 8 medals, comprising one gold, two silver, and five bronze. Kyrgyzstan achieved five medals: one gold, one silver, and three bronze.
Cameroon earned two gold medals and one silver, while Tajikistan secured three bronze medals. Both Turkmenistan and Morocco also earned bronze medals each.
